Alan Harris, Veterinary Assistant

Alan has been working with Dr. Gaddis as a veterinary assistant since 2001 at Animal Dental Specialists, formerly known as Indian Springs Animal Clinic. Alan graduated from Montevallo High School in 1989, and attended the University of Montevallo where he studied biology. He has prior work experience as a kennel technician at another animal clinic in Montevallo, Alabama.

Alan’s pet family includes a black cat named Boo. He enjoys caring for our clients’ dogs and cats, and he has found good homes for numerous strays over the years. In his free time he enjoys hiking, camping, and wildlife photography.

Fun Fact: Alan has filmed several independent short movies with his brother-in-law.



Maddie-Receptionist

Madelyn has worked for Dr. Gaddis since April of 2019. She is a 2014 graduate of Oxford High School, and plans to resume classes at Jefferson State Community College in 2021. Her experience in the veterinary field includes working as a grooming assistant and as a veterinary assistant.

Madelyn has a kitty named Finn, and a three-legged dog named Rabbit. When she is not working, Madelyn enjoys hiking, yoga, painting, reading, and dancing.

Fun Fact: Madelyn is a true crime fanatic, and loves trying to solve cold case murder mysteries.


Rebekah Hill, Dental Technician

Rebekah has been working with Dr. Gaddis of Animal Dental Specialists since 2019. She attended Spain Park High School in Hoover, Alabama, and graduated from the Jefferson State Community College Veterinary Technician program in 2016. Rebekah had her first job as a kennel technician in 2010, and she has been a veterinary assistant since 2017.

Rebekah and her husband, DJ, have two cats named Sampson and Delilah, as well as three dogs. Loki is a Syberian husky, Zola is an older English bulldog, and Pommu is a terrier.

Rebekah enjoys fishing, going to the lake, watching murder mystery shows, and hanging out with friends.

Fun Fact: Rebekah is a crock pot genius.
